Guest Speaker Ron Wiggins of Canadian Federation of Independent Businessmen CFIB attended our last chamber meeting and presented on benefits and operation of this organization. Summary: they 1) lobby government on behalf of members on issues of importance to them, 2) Provide business resources to members, 3) several Privilege Partners provide savings to members. Axia is in discussion with our Town to invest over $5 million dollars to provide us with a new super high speed fiber optic internet service. Kudo's to our town council for moving forward with this initiative on our behalf!
