Congratulations to our Citizen, Youth, and Business of the Year 2012

The Magrath Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate our:

• Business of the Year - The Roe's - Magrath Home Hardware

Feb 2012: Our Chamber Awards Happy Days Gala Dinner/Fundraiser to honor our Citizen, Youth and Business of the Year was a grand success with over 160 attending and many others helping prepare and serve at the event! Tickets were sold at Magrath Pharmacy, ATB Financial and at 1st Choice Savings at $20 per person or $175 for a table of 8. Over $4000 was raised again at this event.

Prizes were awarded best dressed man (Clayton Snyder 'by a hula hoop') and woman (Jane Regehr 'with a blue light special'). The Snyder family also won the Hula Hoop contest (Marissa) and the Arm Wrestling contest (Broden). CYB award presentations, great meal, photo booth, jukebox and pinball machine, icecream and other fun fundraiser activities for the Magrath Trail System all went well. Thanks to Mayor Russ Barnett, MLA Gary Bikman, and MP Jim Hillyer for attending and helping present the awards!
