Re: Happy Magrath Hometown Christmas 2016!

The Town of Magrath and The Magrath and District Chamber of Commerce Society join in inviting you to help sponsor our 11th Annual Magrath Hometown Christmas celebration scheduled for the evening of Thu 1 Dec 2016 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Donations from many local businesses help advertise and fund this fun annual event. Many local/downtown businesses stay open late that evening and many run special sales or contests for that evening as well.

Featured activities for this event (current plans - subject to availability/weather):
  • Lighting of the Christmas Lights Ceremony 6:15 pm,
  • Santa at Town Hall,
  • Late night Christmas Shopping,
  • Display tables: ATB, Keyline, Coop, Magrath Dental, Firehall, SASH, Museum, 1st Choice, 
  • CYB (Citizen, Youth and Business of the Year) Nominations at ATB and 1st Choice, 
  • Roosters Gingerbread House Contest - pro-class online auction 1 weeks prior and fun-class silent auction during (Fundraiser for Pals of the Pool).
  • On street visiting and entertainment, 
  • Outdoor Ice Arena and sleigh rides (weather permitting),
  • Closing Ceremonies/Draws at 8:15 pm.

Thank you for your support! Together we can promote our local downtown businesses while making this Magrath Hometown Christmas event a fun and happy Town of Magrath annual tradition.
