- Chamber Meeting Minutes - Noon at Keyline
- Attending: J Mackenzie (Roosters), D Thomson (Keyline), A Quinton (ATB), K Henderson (Henderson Janitorial), D Bruce (Shannon Sabey CFP), R Spencer (Spencer Plumbing), R Davies (Soft Serve Direct).
- Mr Quinton of ATB announced his retirement and requested he be allowed to step down from all Chamber Committees. We thanked him for past service and wished him luck in his future endeavours.
- Meeting Minutes: 28 Mar 2013 at Sash reviewed and approved
- Discussed preparations for a Public Town Hall style meeting in May 2013 re Economic Development in Magrath and other current business issues.
- Suggest we call it: 'Chamber Sponsored Business Development Meeting'
- Selected Wed 22 May 2013 7pm at Magrath Town Hall as the time and place (subject to availability)
- Propose request pre-submission of issues for discussion at this event.
Possible issues: (a) how to attract more Doctors to Magrath, (b) availability of suitable property for business development/business park, (c) business tax/fee issues, (d) enforcement of licence/permits, etc. What are your issues?
- Discussed call out to chamber members .. R Davies has email contact list with many phone numbers. Website also c - Motion to defer remaining agenda items to next meeting - approved

- great response booking booths and tables - weather started great and power stayed on to almost 3:30 ..
- booked 12 tables and 30 booths and Melissa organized entertainment for the event.
- magnetic signs were great idea. website worked well with few complaints. discuss issue of refunds. about 1/3 of vendors paid us online.
- could use more help in booking, setup, and cleanup next year.
- suggestions for next year: set up all-booths, investigate internet options (for secure payments), repeater for cell phone coverage ..
